How to practice automatic writing

Automatic writing is the process of channeling spiritual guidance and sewers directly into writing. It is an exercise and a form of channeling which many psychics, and spiritual channelers use to receive divine guidance and spiritual insight.

Automatic writing is fairly easy to do and available to anyone who has an open mind.

For me, writing has always been a powerful tool and one that I have learned to use often. Once you learn the power of surrendering, spirit speaks to us fluently.

I believe that spirit uses automatic writing as means to give us spiritual knowledge and wisdom in a less scarier, type of way. Becoming a channel can be extremely scary to some people and can often trigger fear and rational thought which can completely defeat the purpose of divination.

There is a very natural process when you place your pen on paper with the intention to write. Creativity begins to flow naturally without clouded judgement or the ego taking its toll on what you are creating.

**Please note- that when you put in the focused effort to develop automatic writing, it's likely your supporting psychic senses will kick in to help you receive and interpret the guidance from the spiritual or angelic beings you're connecting with. So don't be surprised if you feel, sense, hear or see the angel you're automatic writing messages from, just stay present and aware, and enjoy the connection.**

Okay! Let us begin.

How to Do Automatic Writing

Before you begin, make sure you are have properly grounded and protected yourself. You can use my free grounding and protection meditation here.

Once properly grounded and protected, it is time to open your chakras in order to receive spiritual guidance.

How to open your chakras:

Starting from the root chakra (base of spine, red) and working your way up all the way to the crown chakra (2 inches above the top of the head, purple) envision doors opening wide open in each of the 7 major chakra points.

And now we begin...

Find a comfortable place where you will be away from distraction. Take 3 calming deep breaths and from a place of open awareness, put your pen to the paper and write:

"I now invite my highest, best, and most loving guide or angel of light who can most serve, please write automatically through me now, a message which will most help me on my path. For knowledge wisdom and truth, according to Divine will for the highest and greatest good. And so it is.”

Now simply relax, breathe in and open your heart center, envision beautiful emerald green light radiating outwards from your heart chakra.

Allow yourself to surrender.

Place your pen to the paper, and allow the message to come through.

Your pen may seem to start moving on its own, but far more likely… You'll simply be inspired with a thought, a sentence, or you'll receive one word in your mind. Write it down.

Allow everything and anything to come through. Do not judge. Do not hold onto fear. Just be the channel in which spirit speak through.

Once you feel the session has come to an end, thank the higher spirits for coming through and helping you obtain higher guidance and wisdom.

Once you have thanked your angels/beings - it is time to close down your chakras. To do that, simply do the same exercise you did to open them but envision the doors closing, rather than opening.

So how do you know you are actually connecting to a higher level being and not just making it up?

The 2 most important parts in any type of spiritual development is faith and surrender. Leap and the net will appear. These two aspects may seem simple enough but trust me when I tell you, they are hard as hell to overcome. With practice and time, you will learn to trust the process and your abilities.
