5 Tools to help you TRUST your Intuition

ego intuition mindset psychic development spiritual development Jul 15, 2020

I cannot tell you how many times in my life I have heard the phrase "I had a feeling." or "I already knew that."

We have all said these statements, whether it be in our mind or out loud.

We have all had a inner niggle or a clear knowing of something and didn't listen to it for one reason or another.

Wanna know why?

Because we our naturally programmed to rationalize, correct, and critique.

Intuition comes when we need it.
It comes in so many different ways.

It can come in a feeling,
a clear knowing,
a turning of the stomach.

Intuition is Universal.
It is powerful.
It is within each and everyone of us.

The first step in developing your intuition,
is learning to trust it.

This doesn't come easy.

You have to battle your brain and your beliefs.

You have to trust feelings instead of facts.

You have to have unwavering faith.

Here are my 5 favorite tools that help you TRUST your Intuition!

1) Subliminals

Subliminal recordings have been a staple in all of my courses and coaching programs. The biggest obstacle one faces when wanting to develop their spiritual gifts is their own mind, their own inner critic, their own ego.

We waste more energy questioning the validity of intuitive guidance we receive than actually allowing ourselves to open and receive more.

What exactly are subliminals?

They are passive hypnosis. A powerful, easy to way to rewire your subconscious programming with little effort on your end. Subliminal recordings offer positive affirmations as suggestions to your subconscious on a low volume. I have created many different versions for mediumship development/empath empowerment/ECT...

I love subliminals because they are so easy and versatile. You can listen to them when you are cooking, driving, cleaning, working, meditating... basically doing anything because it is essential just background music :)

We don't realize how accurate our intuitive feelings are until we actually keep tabs! When I first committed codeveloping my psychic and mediumship skills, the first thing I did was get an old binder and make a section where I kept tabs on my assurance and not accurate 'hits.'

I quickly saw the accurate column grow which REALLY helped me trust my connection and the information I was receiving. I think it has something to do with SEEING it in a physical form that makes your comfort and confidence grow and become more real.

You don't even need a journal to do this, you can just use the notes app on your phone. I would HIGHLY suggest this one ESPECIALLY if you are serious about developing your spiritual gifts!

This one might be harder than the rest to come by but finding a safe and nurturing place to develop your intuition and spiritual connection is extremely important.

You can read all the books,

take all of the courses,

and do all of the guided meditations

but your not going to know how intuitive you actually are until you start putting yourself out there and actually flexing those intuitive muscles!

When I first started spiritually developing, I found a spiritual development circle 45 minutes away that met every Monday at 7pm. I would drive the 45 minutes there and back each Monday for over a year and I met some amazing people along the way!

That is why I created my own spiritual development circle. I truly believe that having a place where you can talk about your crazy experiences, and practice developing your gifts with others who are on the same boat as you is not only good for your human self, it is also good for your soul self.

This one kinda falls into the same category as Keeping Tabs but it kinda doesn't. There is a reason why some of the most successful people in the world have a daily journaling practice. People like Tony Robbins, Oprah, Elon Musk, and Rachel Hollis commit to a journal practice every single day. Why?

Because when we take the the time and energy to write something on paper, we are putting more power into it.

We are now bring non-physical thoughts, dreams and desires into the physical realm where it more tangible.

Journaling is a very personal experience and doesn't have to be like a diary entry (unless you want it to be.)

One of my favorite journaling practices is writing out personal affirmation and rules. I'll share some of my personal examples below:

When I listen to my intuition, magic happens.

When I come from a place of alignment and faith, everything falls into place.

The more I trust my intuition, the more abundance I attract.

The Universe always has my back.

I am a clear and open channel in which Spirit speaks through.

BONUS TIP: Record yourself saying these affirmations and listen to the recording every time you are doubting yourself or need a immediate boost of confidence!

5) Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)

This is another powerful tool I incorporate in nearly everyone of my courses and coaching programs. Emotional Freedom Techniques is a form of counseling intervention that draws on various theories of alternative medicine including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming, energy medicine, and Thought Field Therapy. In simple terms, it is the act of tapping on different meridians in your body while stating positive affirmations to one self.

This has been such a great tool to combat imposter syndrome and doubt and can be used for so many other things! There are many amazing free youtube video tutorials available that will help teach you the different points of the body as well as example tapping affirmations.
